Dr. Sumeet Kaur is a graduate of the prestigious University of Illinois at Chicago dental program/ and the
proud owner, since May of 2014, of her Rocklin-based family dentistry practice, where she, works with a staff of 10 to ensure every patient 'feels like family'.
"Dr. Julie has been with our practice for more than 25 years," Dr. Kaur explains, and the previous owner,
Dr. Liz, had many families who had been patients of the practice for four generations. "Our patients are
like extended family to us," she says, "and we do everything we can to make sure they feel welcome, and
are comfortable, when they come to our office."
Dr. Kaur is also a Navy Reservist Dentist, providing dentistry to military servicemen and women one
weekend each month, and two weeks every year. "It is a great privilege to serve our soldiers in
uniform," she says. "I feel very honored and humbled to be involved in something that is so needed, and
so much larger than me."
Dr. Kaur is a member of: American Dental Association (ADA) , California Dental Association (CDA) , Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS).
In addition, she is committed to continuing education, specifically related to popular services she and her team offer their patients, including Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign and CEREC (same day crowns). She and her husband have a three-year-old son, who smiles when Mommy explains that she goes to work each day because "my patients need my help." In her spare time, Dr. Kaur loves to sing, and would someday like to take voice training classes. For now, however, she is happy spending time with her family and her son.
